L M deLeon does their best to accurately represent each piece, although color may vary somewhat from the images shown the by-product of the screen from which they are viewed.

All items are individually handcrafted in the artist’s studio located in El Cerrito, California. Slight variations are to be expected on any ‘made to order’ items. The artist is not a robot nor a machine (despite their fondness for both of these things).

Materials over time

Due to the nature of combining materials, some components may be more delicate. Please do not wear your jewelry in the shower or during extreme physical activity. Crochet elements are often hand-dyed and can be cleaned, if needed, by hand washing in cold water with a couple drops of shampoo or gentle detergent. All telecommunication wires are coated with a clear UV protective acrylic sealant to help prevent color changes over time, but does not guarantee that the color will not change. Pearls and softer stones such as turquoise are delicate and should not come into contact with perfumes, hairspray, or be stored in plastic. While some coloration is intentional, oxidation/discoloration can happen to most metals.

Fittings

If you purchased an item and require some additional fitting, the artist is happy to provide the service for a nominal fee. Please use the contact form to make arrangements.

Alternate Payment Options

Because the artist prefers to make pieces available to a wide range of folks regardless of financial ability, there are several options to purchase work.

Payment plans are easy (and there no extra costs involved):

1. Pick a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or quarterly payments
2. We’ll work together to sort a recurring amount that fits your budget

When the balance is paid, the piece is yours.

work for trade
pay it forward (for art rather than coffee!)
